Tara St. Augustine is a townhome community on 39th Avenue, one of Gainesville’s main thoroughfares. Silverback poured and finished foundations for all ten buildings in this community, using over 200 cubic yards of our very own ready-mix concrete for each foundation. And we’re preparing to start the second phase of work at Tara Greens, a sister property near Tioga Town Center in west Gainesville.

The client, DR Horton, has built more than 890,000 houses in 32 states since 1978, making them America’s largest home builder. The Tara project is the firm’s first foray into building ownership. We’re honored to help them establish a foothold in this market.

The Horton team expected a rate of one concrete slab every two weeks. We applied our values of teamwork and grit by doubling the pace. And just once, we knocked out two slabs in one week!
